You can take steps4change by participating in any marathon, run, walk or other organised fitness event around Australia and, at the same time, raise funds to help provide women and children with 24/7 access to support, information and assistance to escape family violence through safe steps Family Violence Response Centre.
I chose to raise funds for safe steps as part of a marathon event. Knowing I was helping women affected by domestic violence was a great motivator, it really helped me stay focused during training and made the whole experience so much more worthwhile. – Kelly

Step 2: set up your online fundraising page
Most running events will prompt you to create a fundraising page when you register. If the event doesn’t have this option, click here to create your own steps4change online fundraising page here.
Step 3: Start fundraising!
Once your fundraising page is set up, send out the link to your friends and family and ask them to make a donation. You can also share the link to your fundraising page on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Don’t want to do it alone? Why not get a group of your friends, family or work colleagues involved?!
